We played this with the starter decks from the 2016 Core Set and had a blast. Played on Standard, but it was still a challenge, and everyone had a lot of fun.
It took a while to complete (around 3 1/2 hrs) but everything was compelling, and the mechanics were really interesting. Locations taking damage, having to present evidence to the patriarch of the house... and all the rest (without spoiling it too much) made the scenario unique and interesting.
Definitely recommend.
